Sr. Agronomist

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field trials, demonstrations, and research on crop performance, fertilizer efficacy, pest control, and soil management.
• Provide technical support to sales teams and distributors regarding product application, crop nutrition, and integrated crop management.
• Develop region-specific agronomy programs based on local soil, climate, and crop conditions.
• Interpret soil and tissue analysis reports and provide actionable recommendations.
• Train field staff, farmers, and partners through workshops, seminars, and field days.
• Collaborate with product development and R&D teams for new product testing and agronomic validation.
• Monitor crop performance and report seasonal trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Stay updated with the latest agricultural research, technologies, and regulatory guidelines.
• Support sustainability, climate-smart agriculture, and precision farming initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree or higher in Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in agronomy, agricultural extension, or technical advisory roles.
• In-depth knowledge of crop nutrition, fertilizers, pest management, and modern farming practices.
• Strong communication, training, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently to field locations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹65, ₹80,000.00 per month
