Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic QA Security Tester with 1-2 years of hands-on experience in identifying and reporting security vulnerabilities in web applications, APIs. The candidate will work closely with the Development teams to improve the overall security posture of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform penetration testing and security assessments on:

  • Web applications
  • RESTful and SOAP APIs
  • Identify vulnerabilities and security misconfigurations using manual and automated tools.
  • Prepare detailed, technical, and actionable vulnerability reports.
  • Assist developers with remediation strategies and verify fixes post-remediation.
  • Simulate real-world attacks to uncover security flaws.
  • Stay updated with the latest security trends, tools, and exploit techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams during security reviews and threat modeling.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 12 years of experience in security testing of web, and API systems.
  • Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 for Web, and API.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Postman, or similar.
  • Good knowledge of authentication, session management, input validation, and encryption.
  • Experience in writing clear and concise security reports.
  • Understanding of secure development practices and SDLC.
  • Bachelors/masters degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Good to Have:

  • Basic programming/scripting knowledge (Python, JavaScript, Java, etc.)
  • Exposure to cloud security (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and security integration
  • Certifications like CEH, eJPT, Security+, or equivalent (optional but a plus)
