Plant Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Plant Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility. This role is critical to ensuring smooth production workflows, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and leading a team of laborers with efficiency and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Production Oversight:

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output targets
• Monitor machinery and equipment performance; ensure timely maintenance
• Implement production schedules and adjust workflows as needed

Operational Management:

• Ensure smooth functioning of all departments within the plant
• Maintain inventory of raw materials and finished goods
• Enforce compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations

Labour Supervision:

• Lead, train, and motivate laborers to maintain productivity and morale
• Assign tasks and monitor performance of workers across shifts
• Resolve conflicts and ensure discipline among the workforce

Reporting & Coordination:

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production and labor metrics
• Liaise with senior management to communicate operational challenges and improvements
• Collaborate with procurement, quality control, and logistics teams

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience (3+ years) in plant or production supervision
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety standards
• Ability to troubleshoot operational issues quickly and effectively
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office, ERP systems preferred)

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field preferred

Working Conditions

• Factory-based role with exposure to industrial equipment and processes
• May require flexible working hours, including weekends or shifts

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
