Job Purpose: The Mine Planning Executive for Open Cast mining is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of effective mine plans to optimize resource extraction and operational efficiency. This role involves assisting in the preparation of detailed mine designs, scheduling, and budgeting for open cast mining projects. The Mine Planning Executive collaborates with various stakeholders to ensure the alignment of mine plans with business objectives, regulatory compliance, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibility of rale are as below - 

  1.  Technical analysis of bid documents for providing inputs to Business Development team in bidding projects 
  2. Should Well versed with Mining planning software like Minex/ Vulcan/ Deswik for Geological Model, Block Model, Pit Design and Production Schedule optimized production schedule, dump scheduling and haulage planning
  3. Preparation of Mid Term Operational Plan (annual) for different scenarios considering  land availability and other operational constraints 
  4. Preparation of Quarterly Operational Plans for coal mines in accordance with Annual operational Plan
  5. Monsoon preparation work
  6. Interaction with other stakeholders/ departments for operational planning coal projects
  7. Tradeoff study for different mining methods.
  8. Budget Planning of running projects to support Site Team 
  9. Well versed with Mining Plan , DPR Preparation work.
  10. Basic understanding on Statutory clearance like Mining Plan, EC , FC , CTE, CTO , Mine Opening etc.
