About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate
Laravel Backend API Developer
to join our growing tech team at
ZAAROZ
, a fast-paced delivery startup. You will play a key role in designing, building, and scaling robust backend systems that power our platform.

Tech Stack You'll Work With:

  • Frameworks:
    Laravel (8+)
  • Database:
    MySQL, Redis
  • Tools:
    Postman, Git, Docker (optional)

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop RESTful APIs using Laravel.
  • Optimize database queries and structure using MySQL and Redis.
  • Collaborate with frontend and product teams to build scalable features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Monitor and improve application performance and security.

Requirements:

  • 4–7 years of hands-on experience in backend development using
    Laravel
    .
  • Strong experience with
    MySQL
    schema design, stored procedures, and optimization.
  • Practical knowledge of
    Redis
    (caching, sessions, pub/sub).
  • Good understanding of RESTful principles and API best practices.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of microservices architecture.
  • Exposure to third-party APIs (Razorpay, Twilio, Firebase, etc.)
