Qualification:

  • Diploma in Electronics

Experience:

  • 3–5 years in electronics design, PCB design, and use of design software/tools
  • Experience in 3D modeling, design analysis, and documentation
  • Exposure to electro-optical / opto-electronic devices preferred
  • Hands-on experience with thermal image processing is an advantage

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electro-optical devices and electronic assemblies (PCBs, sub-assemblies, modules).
  • Perform 3D modeling, design analysis, and generate design drawings.
  • Prototype fabrication, mechanical housing design, and device integration (PCBs, connectors, displays, thermal cores, image intensifier tubes).
  • Modify existing designs, improve production techniques, and support root cause analysis/testing.
  • Create/refine mechanical components, ensuring cost-effectiveness, availability, and addressing obsolescence.
  • Conduct design reviews, maintain design documentation, and ensure compliance with departmental processes.
  • Research market trends and technology for product upgrades and in-house projects.
  • Study/testing of thermal and night-vision products; prepare feasibility and cost-effectiveness reports.
