- The Civil Billing Engineer is responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects, from preparing detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs from drawings to processing client and subcontractor invoices.
- This role requires a strong understanding of construction project lifecycles, financial regulations, and effective coordination with various stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and timely payments.
- Key Responsibilities
- Bill Preparation and Processing:
- Prepare Client and Subcontractor bills (RA Bills) based on site progress and work orders.
- Extract and quantify materials and works from engineering drawings and specifications.
- Maintain and process billing records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Estimation and Costing:
- Estimate costs for various civil engineering works, including earthworks, structures, and buildings.
- Perform rate analysis based on material, labor, and overhead costs for different items.
- Verification and Quality Control:
- Verify site measurements against the actual work completed and site progress reports.
- Conduct site visits for physical checking of work progress and bill verification.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare detailed and accurate financial reports, including monthly reconciliation statements and billing records.
- Generate Management Information Systems (MIS) reports for stakeholders and senior management.
- Coordination and Communication:
- Liaise with site engineers, project managers, clients, and accounts departments to resolve billing-related issues.
- Ensure the timely submission and clearance of all client and contractor bills.
- Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, quantity surveying, or financial management within the civil engineering or construction sector.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and relevant billing or project management software.
- Strong knowledge of construction project lifecycle, project budgets, and financial documentation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30, ₹50,000.00 per month
