Key Responsibilities

  • Content Development: Design, create, and update training materials, including presentations, manuals and practical projects, ensuring alignment with industry standards and certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+).
  • Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and seminars for diverse audiences (students, professionals, corporate employees), which may be delivered in-person or online.
  • Hands-On Instruction: Provide practical demonstrations using common cybersecurity tools and software (e.g., Wireshark, Metasploit, Kali Linux, Burp Suite) and facilitate hands-on labs and simulations.
  • Needs Assessment: Collaborate with clients or organizations to assess specific training needs and tailor program content to meet their requirements.
  • Mentorship and Feedback: Guide and mentor participants, clarify technical queries, evaluate performance through assessments and quizzes, and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, threats, and best practices in cybersecurity to ensure all training content is relevant and up-to-date.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise: Strong, hands-on experience in various cybersecurity domains such as network security, ethical hacking, incident response, cloud security, and risk management.
  • Certifications: Relevant professional certifications are highly preferred, such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or CISM.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex security concepts simply and effectively to diverse learners.
  • Teaching Experience: Prior experience in training, teaching, or mentoring is required.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address real-world scenarios and adapt training on the fly.
  • Self-Management: As a freelancer, excellent self-management, time management, and organizational skills are crucial for managing multiple projects and clients.

Job Type: Freelance

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹442, ₹1,033,830.31 per year
