Accounts Head

The Accounts Head will be responsible for leading the finance & accounts function for the QSR business. This role will ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, statutory compliance, cost optimization, and strategic financial planning to support rapid expansion and operational excellence in the QSR industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across all outlets, warehouse, commissary, and HO.
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Consolidate accounts for multiple outlets/franchises and generate MIS reports for management.
• Present financial analysis to support business decisions, outlet performance reviews, and expansion plans.

Budgeting & Cost Control:

• Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Track food cost, wastage, pilferage, and other controllable expenses to improve profitability.
• Implement cost control measures across supply chain, procurement, and outlet operations.

Compliance & Audit:

• Ensure statutory compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, ROC, etc.).
• Liaise with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure timely filing of returns.

Cash & Treasury Management:

• Monitor daily outlet collections, POS reconciliations, and cash deposits.
• Manage banking operations, vendor payments, and fund flow planning.
• Optimize working capital, manage debtors/creditors, and oversee franchise royalty collections.

Team Leadership & Systems:

• Lead and mentor the accounts & finance team.
• Implement ERP/accounting software integration with POS & inventory management systems.
• Build SOPs for financial controls across outlets and central operations.

Strategic Contribution:

• Partner with senior management to support scaling of outlets and new franchise models.
• Provide financial insights for pricing, menu engineering, promotions, and new store viability.
• Drive profitability and ensure financial health of the QSR brand.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of QSR / Retail / Hospitality accounting practices.
• Expertise in taxation, statutory compliance, and financial controls.
• Proficiency in ERP, Tally, POS systems, and Excel-based reporting.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multi-location accounts with accuracy and speed.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40, ₹60,000.00 per month
