Role Overview
The Operations and Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving seamless business operations while formulating and executing innovative marketing strategies. This role demands strong analytical acumen, cross-functional leadership, and customer-centric thinking to ensure profitability, operational efficiency, and brand growth.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee end-to-end operations, including supply chain, logistics, inventory management, and vendor relations.
- Optimize processes to improve cost efficiency, service levels, and turnaround times.
- Implement performance metrics (KPIs, SLAs) and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives across operations for efficiency and scalability.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of projects and timely delivery.
Marketing & Business Development
- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies to drive market share and revenue growth.
- Conduct market research, competitive benchmarking, and consumer insights analysis.
- Strengthen brand positioning and ensure consistent communication across channels.
- Manage partnerships, alliances, and collaborations to enhance market penetration.
- Work with sales teams to align marketing campaigns with business goals.
- Track ROI on marketing spend and optimize campaigns for maximum impact.
Leadership & Strategy
- Translate organizational vision into actionable operational and marketing strategies.
- Lead, coach, and mentor high-performing teams across functions.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and business reports for senior leadership.
- Anticipate market trends, identify growth opportunities, and mitigate risks.
- Act as a key contributor to overall business strategy and decision-making.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Education:
MBA/PGDM from IIM or top-tier B-School (mandatory). - Experience:
3-5 years of experience in operations and marketing management, preferably in FMCG, Retail, Pharma, E-commerce, or related industries. - Strong exposure to business operations, brand management, and P&L responsibility.
- Proven track record of designing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset.
