Purpose of the Job:
Aligning ESG goals with corporate objectives, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring that
sustainability considerations are integrated into all aspects of the business.
Create guidelines, checklists, policies, procedures, and other related program content, to align
with best practice and frameworks, and enable business to carry out and enhance programs.
Take collaborative initiatives, coordinating business and engagement for meetings,
calls, workshops, training, presentations, and events with the support of the
reporting manager.
Exposure and knowledge on Writing reports on ESG on different frameworks.
KPI identification & monitoring.
Timely follow up for resolution of the investors queries with utmost satisfaction.
This position is responsible for:
Assisting in the development, implementation, and monitoring of ESG and sustainability
strategies and action plans that support the companys overall business objectives and
regulatory compliance.
Conducting data collection, analysis, and reporting of key sustainability and ESG metrics such
as carbon footprint, resource use, community impact, and governance practices
Supporting ESG risk identification, assessment, and mitigation efforts by working with various
departments to address issues related to environmental impact, social responsibility, and
corporate governance.
Identification and development of the digital platform for data capturing & its analysis for
sharing with management.
Training & capacity Building of the internal stakeholders.
Key Result Areas:
1. Environmental Performance
Tracking and analysis of environmental data: Monitoring metrics such as carbon footprint,
energy consumption, water usage, waste management, and emissions of business at
corporate level.
Assisting business aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving resource
efficiency, and achieving sustainability targets.
Monitoring business adheres to environmental laws, regulations, and internal policies.
2. Social Responsibility
Employee and community engagement: Facilitating social programs like diversity and
inclusion initiatives, workforce training, health and safety measures, and community
involvement.
Tracking employee satisfaction, turnover rates, training participation, and community
investment metrics.
Support in implementing social policies: Assisting in programs that promote equality, labor
rights, and positive stakeholder relations.
- Governance Practices
Assisting in governance-related disclosures including board diversity, ethical practices,
corporate policies, and compliance reporting.
Helping ensure company policies align with internal standards and external ESG reporting
frameworks.
Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders on governance matters and ESG
reporting. - Reporting and Compliance
Accurate and timely collection, analysis, and reporting of ESG data in line with standards.
Supporting preparation of sustainability and ESG reports for internal management and
external stakeholders.
Keeping abreast of evolving ESG regulations and ensuring the company remains compliant.
5. Continuous Improvement and Learning
Staying informed about ESG trends, regulatory changes, and best practices.
Helping organize sustainability workshops and training programs within the organization.
Providing regular updates and insights on ESG performance to management for informed
decision-making.
