Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Design Engineer specializing in structural and bridge engineering. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Structural Engineering and a strong background in design of various type of bridges and DPR projects. As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership in the design and analysis of structural elements, with a specific focus on bridges. You will work closely with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and analyze structural elements, with a specialization in bridges, using state-of-the-art software and engineering principles.
2. Develop Detailed Project Reports (DPR) for various infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
3. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design teams.
4. Collaborate with authorities, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure coordination and integration of structural design requirements.
5. Perform feasibility studies and site investigations to assess the structural integrity and constructability of bridges.
6. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
7. Conduct structural analyses and simulations to assess the performance of bridges under various loading conditions.
8. Evaluate and select appropriate materials, construction techniques, and structural systems for bridge projects.
9. Conduct periodic site visits and inspections to monitor the progress of construction and ensure compliance with design specifications.
10. Stay updated with the latest advancements and developments in bridge engineering, codes, and regulations.

Requirements:

1. Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field. A Ph.D. in Structural Engineering is a plus.
2. Minimum of 15 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on bridge design and analysis.
3. Proven experience in preparing Detailed Project Reports (DPR) for infrastructure projects.
4. Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards related to bridge design and construction.
5. Proficiency in using structural engineering software such as SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, or similar.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform complex structural analyses.
7. Familiarity with various construction materials, techniques, and fabrication processes.
8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
9. Strong project management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
10. Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
