Frontend Engineer

Position: Frontend Engineer Location: Remote /Hybrid Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Engineer with strong expertise in JavaScript, React, and , along with a solid understanding of modern frontend architecture and design patterns. The ideal candidate is not only a strong implementer but also an engineer who can think in terms of scalability, maintainability, and long-term product vision. You should be comfortable building sophisticated UI systems, working with design teams, integrating APIs, and optimizing for performance, accessibility, and SEO.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality, responsive, and visually compelling user interfaces using React, , JavaScript (ES6+), CSS3, SCSS, TailwindCSS, and modern frontend tooling.
• Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, accessible, and highly functional UI experiences.
• Architect, build, and maintain reusable components, scalable design systems, and long-term frontend architectures.
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and efficient UI rendering.
• Implement advanced state management using Redux Toolkit, Context API, Zustand, Jotai, or similar libraries.
• Optimize application performance using code splitting, lazy loading, memoization, caching, and improving Lighthouse scores.
• Ensure top-tier accessibility and SEO using WCAG guidelines, semantic HTML, and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and maintain a clean and consistent codebase.
• Use Git/GitHub effectively, following structured branching strategies and clean pull request (PR) workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues across different devices, browsers, and system configurations.
• Contribute to and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries for consistent product experiences.
• Support and enhance build & deployment pipelines, ensuring reliable delivery in multiple environments.
• Write clear documentation for components, standards, workflows, and architectural decisions.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements in tooling, performance, and development best practices.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, and engineering teams to reliably deliver features.

Required Skills & QualificationsCore Technical Expertise

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) including closures, async programming, and advanced language fundamentals.
• Expert-level understanding of , hooks, component lifecycle, concurrent features, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with , including server-side rendering, static generation, routing, middleware, and caching.
• Strong styling expertise with CSS3, SCSS, TailwindCSS, and responsive design best practices.
• Highly proficient with Git/GitHub, branching strategies, code reviews, and collaborative workflows.
• Comfortable integrating REST and GraphQL APIs and handling data efficiently.
• Familiarity with modern bundlers: Webpack, Vite, Turbopack, SWC, Babel.
• Solid understanding of web security (XSS, CSRF, sanitization, CORS) and semantic HTML.

React Architecture & Pattern Knowledge

• Functional composition & reusable logic abstraction

API & Data Handling

• Experience with caching tools like React Query, SWR, Apollo Client

• Ability to profile and solve rendering bottlenecks

Testing & Reliability

• Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright
• Knowledge of mocking, snapshot testing, CI pipelines

Preferred Skills (Bonus)

• Basic experience with React Native or willingness to learn mobile development
• Solid understanding of TypeScript
• Familiarity with UI frameworks: ShadCN
• Experience with CI/CD: Vercel, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI
• Exposure to monorepos (Turborepo, Nx)
