Job Title: Senior Salesforce Consultant - Communications Cloud & OmniStudio
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Consultant with deep expertise in Communications Cloud (formerly Vlocity Communications Industry Cloud) and OmniStudio to join our growing Salesforce team. This role will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing complex solutions for our telecommunications and media clients, leveraging best practices to drive business value and user adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Architecture
- Lead discovery sessions to gather and analyze business requirements specific to telecom/media processes.
- Design end-to-end solutions leveraging Communications Cloud data model, CPQ, EPC, and OmniStudio (FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures).
- Provide architecture recommendations aligned with Salesforce best practices and scalable design principles.
- Implementation & Configuration
- Build and configure Communications Cloud components, OmniStudio assets, and declarative Salesforce features.
- Lead and conduct system configuration, integration setup, and data migration efforts.
- Develop proof-of-concept solutions to validate requirements and design decisions.
- Support the configuration of multiple Salesforce Clouds including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, FSL, Communities, Pardot, Marketing Cloud and other ancillary applications from the Salesforce Appexchange
- Technical Leadership
- Mentor and guide junior consultants and developers on the project team.
- Perform code reviews for OmniStudio configurations and ensure solution quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during implementation and post-go-live support.
- Client Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, articulating complex technical concepts in business terms.
- Lead demos and solution walkthroughs with client stakeholders.
- Support change management and user adoption by developing relevant training materials and documentation.
Required Qualifications
Education & Certification
Salesforce OmniStudio Consultant (Vlocity Platform Consultant)
- Salesforce Communications Cloud Accredited Professional (highly preferred)
- Other relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g. Platform Developer I/II, Application Architect) are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Salesforce certifications:
Experience
5+ years of Salesforce consulting or implementation experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Communications Cloud in telecom/media implementations.
- Extensive experience with OmniStudio tools including FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures.
Proven ability to lead solution design workshops and deliver end-to-end Salesforce projects.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modelling, and declarative capabilities.
- Familiarity with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and integration patterns is a plus.
- Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator and Cloud Consultant certifications.
Experience working in agile project delivery environments.
Professional Skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Salesforce CPQ for Communications and EPC (Enterprise Product Catalog).
- Background working with telecommunications, media, or similar industry clients.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via APIs or middleware platforms.
- Experience with Communications Cloud BSS Suite/Order Management.
