DB2 DBA Experience: 5-8 years. Notice Period: 1-2 months. Location: Hyderabad. Shift: Rotational Shift. Should be fine with WFO hybrid mode. Key skill: DB2 DBA LUW, RUNSTAT.
Requirement: i. Manage database definitions, monitor free space, refresh test systems, resolve performance issues, assist with database and related DB2 product upgrades. ii. Monitor the Backup, Reorg and RUNSTAT jobs regularly. iii. Participate in Disaster Recovery Exercises. iv. Provide database support to client Application Development teams. v. Provide database support to applicable production control teams. vi. Continuously monitor database performance and take steps pro-actively to ensure good database performance. vii. ISO/ITIL experience in the areas of Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and RCA management. viii. Experience in working within an ITSM System to address and update Incidents, Changes, and Requests according to required timeframes. ix. Experience in tuning DB2 system performance. x. Experience in tuning partitioned and indexed DB2 tablespaces. xi. Experience in reorganizing DB2 database subsystems xii. Verbal and written proficiency in English xiii. Strong incident/problem determination skills.
