Role & responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain packing machines to ensure smooth and efficient packaging operations.
  • Set up machines with the required materials, labels, and packaging supplies.
  • Ensure correct weight, sealing, labeling, and packaging of products as per specifications.
  • Monitor the packing process to minimize wastage and maintain product quality.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs to reduce downtime.
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
  • Maintain accurate production and machine maintenance records.
  • Assist in routine maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of machines.
  • Report any equipment issues, breakdowns, or deviations to the supervisor immediately.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in packaging efficiency and quality.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Minimum 12th pass; ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in operating packing machines (agri/food/seed industry preferred).
  • Knowledge of machine operation, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance.
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and SOPs.
  • Good attention to detail and quality-oriented approach.
  • Basic record-keeping and reporting skills.
