Key Responsibilities:Manage and support enterprise -scale Red Hat and Ubuntu Linux environments.Automate repetitive tasks and system configurations using shell scripting and Ansible.Implement, configure, and maintain Red Hat Satellite for patch management and system provisioning.Monitor system performance, identify issues, and provide timely resolutions.Perform OS -level troubleshooting and ensure system security and compliance.Collaborate with DevOps, application, and network teams to support infrastructure needs.Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning.Maintain documentation of systems, procedures, and policies.RequirementsRequired Skills & Experience:5–10 years of hands -on experience in Linux system administration (Red Hat and Ubuntu).Strong experience in Unix/Linux shell scripting (Bash, Shell, or Python).Working knowledge of Ansible for automation and configuration management.Experience with Red Hat Satellite for lifecycle management.Good understanding of system security, SELinux, firewalls, and patching strategies.Familiarity with system monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus).Experience in a cloud or virtualized environment (e.g., VMware, AWS, OpenStack) is a plus.RHCE certification is a plus.
