Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Market Research Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong educational background in Computer Science (BTech, BE, BSc, BCA, or equivalent) and a Master's degree in MBA with a focus on Marketing, Communication, Business Analytics or IT. The role offers the flexibility of working in a hybrid model within a start-up culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
  • Gather data on consumer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand.
  • Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations based on research findings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop effective strategies and tactics based on market research.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders/ Vendors in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with a strong academic record.
  • Master's degree in MBA with a specialization in Marketing, Communication, Business Analytics or IT.
  • Proven experience in market research or business consulting roles is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Ambitious and driven towards achieving results in a dynamic Start-up environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Market Research or related field is a plus.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard research tools and software.
  • Previous experience in a hybrid work environment.
