Role & responsibilities

  • Perform field service visits for commercial vehicles (fault verification, basic troubleshooting, escalation).
  • Support workshop operations: gate-in / gate-out process, inspections, and job-card preparation.
  • Assist in preventive maintenance and vehicle diagnostics.
  • Provide breakdown assistance & customer communication during service.
  • Follow service processes, safety norms, and 5S practices.
  • Participate in Ashok Leylands structured training programs.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Diploma (Mechanical / Automobile / Mechatronics) freshers and up to 3 years' experience.
  • Knowledge of commercial vehicle systems (engine, transmission, brakes, electrical basics).
  • Willing to work in field service and customer-facing roles.
  • Good communication skills, basic computer knowledge.
