Role Overview:

As a Senior Mendix Developer, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of Mendix-based applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable, high-performance applications. This is a leadership role where you will mentor junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices while driving technical innovation and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Mendix applications for both web and mobile platforms.
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and understand business requirements.
  • Convert business requirements into technical specifications and deliver scalable, robust solutions.
  • Ensure application scalability, performance, and security.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce best development practices, and maintain quality standards.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues and bottlenecks across the application lifecycle.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Mendix platform updates, features, and best practices.
  • Provide guidance to junior developers, fostering team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with QA, project managers, and business analysts for successful project delivery.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, leading small teams across various stages of development.
  • Be flexible in working with both onsite and offshore teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years in software development, with at least 3 years in Mendix.
  • Mendix Advanced or Expert Certification required.
  • Strong understanding of Mendix architecture, microflows, domain models, and integrations.
  • Experience with REST APIs, SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS (Java), and optional experience with Java.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience in building scheduled events, external integrations with on-premise, SaaS/PaaS systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
