We are seeking an experienced OSP (Outside Plant) Design Engineer with a strong understanding of U.S. telecom standards and hands-on experience using IQGeo software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, drafting, and updating fiber optic layouts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop OSP network layouts for fiber and copper infrastructure using IQGeo and other GIS-based tools.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, construction standards, and telecom specifications in accordance with U.S. standards (e.g., RUS, NEC, NESC).
  • Prepare detailed design packages, including route maps, splice diagrams, and BOMs (Bill of Materials).
  • Collaborate with project managers, field engineers, and construction teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
  • Perform quality checks and update records in IQGeo for as-built documentation.
  • Support permitting processes by providing accurate design documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during project execution.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in OSP design engineering With IQGeo.
  • Proficiency in IQGeo software for network design and documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. telecom standards (RUS, NEC, NESC, and local codes).
  • Familiarity with fiber optic network architecture.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35, ₹65,000.00 per month
