Job Description: Power Electronics and Drives Engineer:

· Power Electronics and Drives Engineer responsibilities include:

· Designing, testing, and troubleshooting power electronic circuits and motor drive systems

· Supporting production, installation, and maintenance of drives and control systems

· Ensuring efficiency, reliability, and safety of electronic power systems

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Design, develop, and test power electronic circuits (DC-DC, AC-DC, DC-AC converters, inverters, rectifiers).

· Work on motor drive systems (DC, Induction, BLDC, PMSM drives).

· Simulate circuits using tools like MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice, or equivalent.

· Troubleshoot and repair power electronic hardware and drive systems.

· Support production and testing of drive control systems and PCBs.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product development.

· Prepare technical documentation, manuals, and test reports.

· Ensure compliance with safety standards and EMC requirements.

Assist in field testing, commissioning, and customer support

Requirements:

· Proven experience as a Power Electronics / Drives Engineer or in a similar role.

· Strong knowledge of power electronic converters, motor control techniques, and embedded controllers (DSP, ARM, or Microcontrollers).

· Familiarity with sensors, gate drivers, IGBT/MOSFET modules, and protection circuits.

· Experience with simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink, PSIM, PSpice) and PCB design software (Altium, OrCAD, KiCAD).

· Knowledge of industrial automation and control systems is an advantage.

· Resourcefulness, problem-solving aptitude, and analytical thinking.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

· B.E / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Power Engineering with 1 year of experience, OR

· Diploma in Electrical / Electronics with 2 years of experience.

· Freshers with strong academic knowledge and project experience in power electronics and drives are also encouraged to apply.

₹15,000.00 – ₹20,000.00 per month (based on skills and experience)
