We at Mr Garaz Technologies Private Limited (MGTPL) are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to work in a fast-paced Mining environment as MIG Welder Cum Fitters for our projects running currently in pan India locations.

We need young, enthusiastic Welders and Fitters - Welder Tread for operating and servicing heavy truck maintenance being supplied various OEMs like Volvo, Scania And BharatBenz etc, and various Mining clients in the country like Coal India, Odisha Mining Corporation, Mahanadi Coal Field Limited (MCL), Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), etc. They must also follow a strict safety code during work. The current hiring is for the next phase of growth which is anticipated over the next 3-5 years.

MIG Welder Responsibilities:

  1. Selecting, measuring, cutting, and joining appropriate metals to specifications.
  2. Preparing metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assemblage.
  3. Interpreting specifications and blueprints accurately.
  4. Training welding apprentices and mentoring recruits.
  5. Regularly cleaning and inspecting welding equipment and tools.
  6. Operating cranes and other machinery to transport materials to welding worksites.
  7. Determining correct gas ratios.
  8. Testing the strength of each joint during and after project completion.
  9. Diagnosing issues and troubleshooting as required.
  10. Liaising with the line manager or supervisor, reporting any issues, and making suggestions for improvement.

MIG Welder Requirements:

  1. High school, ITI, Diploma or similar.
  2. A completed apprenticeship or vocational training.
  3. A relevant certificate from a welding association may be required.
  4. Excellent stamina, strength, and dexterity.
  5. Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
  6. Sound understanding of welding safety.
  7. The ability to teach would be advantageous.
  8. A willingness to learn and work overtime when required.
