We're now expanding our digital systems and are looking for a
Backend Developer
to help us build scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications that power our student portal, lead management, and automation systems.

Role Overview

As a Backend Developer, you'll be responsible for developing APIs, managing databases, and integrating backend services that support our frontend platforms (WordPress and ). You'll work closely with the frontend and marketing teams to ensure a seamless and efficient data flow across our web ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using
    / / PHP (Laravel)
  • Develop and manage RESTful APIs
    for frontend and third-party integrations
  • Design and optimize database structures (
    MySQL / MongoDB
    )
  • Handle authentication, authorization, and data security
  • Optimize code and queries for performance and scalability
  • Debug and resolve backend-related issues quickly
  • Collaborate with frontend developers and designers for API-based integration
  • Deploy and manage code on cloud servers (AWS / DigitalOcean / cPanel)

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field (preferred)
  • 1–3 years of hands-on backend development experience
  • Proficient in at least one backend stack:

  • PHP / Laravel / CodeIgniter
  • Strong understanding of
    REST APIs
    and
    JSON data structures
  • Database experience with MySQL / MongoDB
  • Familiar with Git/version control systems
  • Basic understanding of frontend integration
    (React/WordPress)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with
    server management (cPanel, AWS, or DigitalOcean)
  • Knowledge of API authentication (JWT, OAuth)
  • Understanding of Docker or CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with WordPress backend (custom API or plugin development)
  • Experience with CRM or LMS backend logic
