Roles and Responsibilities:

● Development of HSE plans, HSE manuals, operational procedures, permit to work systems and COSHH programs.

● Developing, implementing, and presenting to management, Measurement and Continuous improvement systems.

● Technical proposal document evaluation/submission, and lose prevention, Technical Quarry, HSE cost estimation.

● Sub contractor selection and HSE evaluation.

● In-depth knowledge of modern safety management systems, processes, and techniques applicable to the Oil/gas or related industries.

● Working knowledge of loss prevention engineering and safety management practices applicable to the oil and gas industries.

● Providing inputs to third party safety study during detail engineering stage for QRA, SIL, Noise, CFD, Drop object etc.

● Conducting HAZOP/HAZID study & close out reports. safety program development, fire prevention, hazardous materials, qualitative and quantitative risk analysis,

● process safety management, process hazards analysis, incident investigation and the development and implementation of safe operations procedures and processes.

● Pre hiring HSE assessment of Marine spread i.e. AWB, AHT, DSV, Supply vessel etc.

● Legal & Statuary compliance for the offshore platform i.e. Petroleum & Natural Gas Rule, Environment Statement etc.

● Imparting and arranging HSE training i.e. offshore induction training, mandatory offshore training, H2S safety etc.

● Risk assessment techniques such as HEMP & HIRA.

● Implementing ISO-9001, 14001 OHSAS 18001 standards and maintaining the relevant documents.

● Facilitates implementation of the HSE Management System including incident investigations and hazard assessments.

● Conducts safety and/or environmental audits and inspect facilities within geographic area of responsibility to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with regulatory laws.

● Strong working knowledge and experience in OSHA Process Safety Management; Emergency Response Planning; PSSR; Operating and Maintenance Procedures.

● Experienced in working with international Oil & Gas consulting companies with Expect consultants.

Job Requirements: Qualifications, Knowledge & Skill set:

● BE/BTech or ME/MTech in Chemical Engineering.

● 15 + years' experience in Petroleum refinery / Petrochemical industry are highly desirable.

● Candidates must be from Engineering organisations (Basic engineering or Detailed engineering, EPC)

● Strong team player, excellent analytical and Communication skills.

● Knowledge of process engineering design tools.

● Demonstrate skill in preparation/ review of process engineering documents, drawings, data sheets, specifications, quality assurance plan, etc.

● Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and control activities on day-to-day basis with a view to achieve project objectives and optimize resources.

● Knowledge on applicable codes, standards and legislation pertaining to process engineering.
