Fynd is seeking a highly skilled and creatively driven Fashion Design Lead to spearhead the development of trend-forward, brand-aligned fashion collections. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end creative process—from concept ideation to final production—while collaborating closely with brand partners, internal teams, and leadership. You will represent Fynd in meetings with Creative Directors and Fashion Leads of partner brands, ensuring that our design direction consistently reflects innovation, quality, and a deep understanding of market trends.

What will you do at Fynd?

Collection Development & Creative Direction

• Lead the end-to-end creation of fashion collections—from concept ideation to final execution—ensuring cohesive integration of silhouettes, prints, trims, and fabrics.
• Conduct in-depth research on global trends, brand language, and consumer needs to craft distinctive, market-relevant concepts.
• Guide and mentor design team members in creative brainstorming, design refinement, and collection planning.

Advanced Print & Surface Design

• Use both traditional design techniques and AI-powered tools to create innovative, cutting-edge prints.
• Ensure print designs complement fabric properties, garment structure, and overall collection themes.

Linesheet & Technical Pack Leadership

• Oversee the creation and maintenance of detailed linesheets and complete tech packs using Adobe Illustrator.
• Ensure each tech pack includes comprehensive specifications, measurements, construction details, trims, and production-ready guidelines.
• Implement best practices to maintain accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all technical documents.

Pattern Making & Product Construction

• Utilize strong pattern-making knowledge to validate design feasibility, fit, and construction.
• Collaborate with sampling and production teams to ensure patterns translate accurately into high-quality garments.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with merchandising, sourcing, AI design teams, and production to ensure on-time delivery and seamless execution.
• Anticipate design or production challenges and provide quick, effective solutions.
• Maintain clear communication and alignment across teams throughout the design lifecycle.

Production Oversight & Quality Control

• Oversee the design process from initial sketches to final production.
• Review samples, approve fits, and ensure garments meet brand standards in aesthetics, quality, and functionality.

Brand & Client Representation

• Represent Fynd in meetings with Creative Directors, Fashion Leads, and partner brand teams.
• Present design concepts, seasonal collections, research insights, and creative strategies with clarity and confidence.

Some specific Requirements:

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in fashion design, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior design role.
• Proven track record of creating cohesive collections and advanced print designs.
• Strong command of pattern making, garment construction, and textile knowledge.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and other design tools for technical sketches, linesheets, and tech packs.
• Hands-on experience with AI-driven design tools for print creation.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with exceptional problem-solving skills and quick, structured decision-making.
• Deep understanding of brand identity and the ability to develop designs that are culturally and commercially relevant.
