Teaching & Learning

  • Deliver lectures, tutorials, and lab sessions in core areas of Computer Science and IT (e.g., programming, algorithms, databases, operating systems, networking, cybersecurity, AI/ML, cloud computing, data science, etc.).
  • Design and update course curriculum to align with industry trends, accreditation requirements, and emerging technologies.
  • Assess student performance through examinations, assignments, and projects.
  • Mentor and advise students on academic, career, and research pathways.

Research & Innovation

  • Undertake research in specialized domains of Computer Science/IT.
  • Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
  • Secure external funding and grants for research projects.
  • Guide undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral research work.

Institutional Development

  • Participate in departmental and institutional committees.
  • Collaborate with industry, academia, and research organizations.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, hackathons, and guest lectures.
  • Contribute to accreditation, curriculum development, and quality assurance processes.

Qualifications

  • Essential:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / related field (for Assistant Professor level).
  • Preferred / Desirable:
  • Ph.D. in Computer Science / IT or related specialization.
  • Teaching/research experience in higher education.
  • Industry certifications (e.g., AWS, Cisco, Microsoft, Oracle, etc.).

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong subject expertise in core and emerging areas of CS/IT.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and development tools.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
  • Research, publication, and project guidance experience.
  • Commitment to student-centered learning and innovation in pedagogy.
