As a Python Developer, your primary responsibilities will include design, development, support, and maintenance of Python based applications and solutions for process automation. You will work directly with technical leads to design, implement maintain and secure python-based application and automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for development and maintenance of applications/solutions with Python keeping in view the industry standards.
  • Development on cloud-based technologies such as AWS and GCP with Python.
  • Develop application framework and establish foundation and standards for code development and deployment.
  • Develop applications using Django Framework.
  • Build and automate repeatable processes using python for implementation in process automation solution.
  • Develop, deploy and maintain API's (Rest API)
  • Perform Code reviews, identify potential issues to reduce technical debt.
  • Foster an environment of service design thinking, prototyping quick hitting solutions and high-value innovation opportunities for our functional partners.
  • Knowledge of, and experience with, all phases of the SDLC (software development life cycle), including requirements elicitation, design, coding, testing, and deployment is a must.
  • Document data flows and technical designs to ensure compliance with organization, business, and security best practices.
  • Regular evaluation of implemented tools for investment productivity and effectiveness. Continually assess functional capabilities vs. other tools in market and opportunities for enhancing existing or introducing new tools.
  • Establish and maintain design and development best practices.
Required Skills and Experience
  • ​​​​​2+ years of hand on experience of developing python-based solutions/applications.
  • Strong experience of working with Object Oriented programming in Python.
  • Strong experience of working with API's and integrating multiple applications together.
  • Experience of working with Data Warehousing Technologies like BigQuery, Redshift , or snowflake is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, Looker or Power BI is a plus.
  • Ability to show initiative and work independently with minimal direction.
  • Demonstrate a desire to remain current with industry technologies and standards.
  • GitHub portfolio is a plus.
Educational Qualifications

Masters/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology or related field or experience
