Job Title: QA Tester

Mode: Work from office

Experience: 1 to 3 Years Experience

Summary:

The Experienced QA Tester is responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans and test cases to ensure that software products meet specified requirements and are free of defects. This role requires a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully testing software applications and a passion for quality.

Responsibilities:

Analyze requirements and specifications to understand the functionality of the software.

Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases covering all aspects of the application.

Design and execute various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, usability, and security testing.

Identify, document, and track defects using a bug tracking system.

Verify bug fixes and retest affected areas.

Generate test reports summarizing test results and identifying areas of risk.

Assist in the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks and scripts.

Collaborate with the QA team to identify test scenarios and develop test cases.

Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.

Participate in the maintenance and enhancement of existing automation scripts.

Work closely with developers to understand software architecture and design test cases accordingly.

Document test procedures and results for future reference.

Stay updated on QA automation tools and technologies

Required Skills:

· Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).

· Experience in various testing types (functional, regression, performance, usability, security).

· Proficiency in using bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman) (preferred for some roles).

· Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) (preferred for some roles).

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
