Our site in Pune, India is seeking an IT Fullstack Software Engineer to join our team. This role needs a highly skilled and experienced professional to design and develop enterprise web applications and support AI-powered solutions. In this role, the engineer will build user-friendly front-end interfaces and robust back-end services, ensuring seamless integration across our technology stack and high-quality user experiences.

The Specialist, IT Fullstack Software Engineer will collaborate closely with product leads, business analysts, human-centric designers, and development teams to implement technical solutions. The role involves developing dynamic ReactJS user interfaces and small-scale APIs/services (using Python/FastAPI or ), as well as occasionally contributing to AI agent integration. The engineer will ensure applications meet performance, scalability, and security standards, following best practices and staying abreast of modern web development and AI technologies.

What You'll Do:

• Front-End Development: Develop and maintain front-end features and reusable UI components using , following UI/UX design specifications. Ensure the application's front-end is responsive, intuitive, and aligns with business requirements.
• Back-End Development: Design, build, and support back-end APIs and microservices using Python (FastAPI) or TypeScript ) to power the front-end applications. Integrate with databases and external systems to retrieve and update data as needed.
• End-to-End Solution Integration: Integrate front-end and back-end components to deliver complete end-to-end solutions for internal enterprise applications. Develop and maintain integration points between various enterprise systems (e.g., connecting new applications with existing databases, services, or APIs).
• Rapid Prototyping & AI Support: Rapidly prototype and develop internal web applications and AI agents to support business operations. While AI development is a secondary focus, collaborate with AI engineering teams to integrate intelligent features or agent capabilities into applications when required.
• Performance, Scalability & Security: Ensure application performance, scalability, and security standards are met. Conduct performance optimization, load testing, and apply security best practices (such as proper authentication/authorization and secure coding) throughout the development lifecycle.
• Code Quality & Best Practices: Participate in code reviews and uphold development best practices to maintain high code quality. Write unit tests and follow test-driven development where feasible to ensure reliability of the software.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams – including UX/UI designers, AI specialists, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders – to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver integrated solutions. Foster a collaborative environment by sharing knowledge.

What We Seek:

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 4+ years of hands-on software development experience in full-stack or web application engineering.
• Full-Stack Proficiency: Strong proficiency in building modern UIs with and developing back-end APIs/services with either Python (FastAPI or similar framework) or
• Web & API Development: Proven experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and web services, including knowledge of authentication/authorization standards (e.g., SSO, OAuth2, JWT).
• Web Fundamentals: Familiarity with core web technologies (Web components, React, JavaScript/Typescript) and modern web architecture principles for building scalable web applications.
• Tools & Practices: Experience with version control (Git) and working in collaborative Agile development teams; comfortable with code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills with a proactive, continuous improvement mindset.
• Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to document work and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

• UI Frameworks: Experience with or willingness to learn Vaadin (React & Java-based web UI framework) is a strong plus.
• Back-End Tech: Experience with Java and Spring Boot (or similar back-end frameworks). Experience with tools like UV and Bun are also preferred.
• Architecture: Familiarity with modular architecture, microservices, and distributed systems design is desirable. Experience with GraphQL for efficient data querying is also a plus.
• Cloud Platforms: Knowledge of cloud-native development and deployment (especially on Google Cloud Platform (GCP); also beneficial to have exposure to Azure services) is preferred.
• AI Exposure: Exposure to AI/ML technologies or AI-driven applications (e.g., working with large language models, AI agents, or frameworks like LangChain) is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Front-End: (expertise in modern React hooks and state management); strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 for responsive web development.
• Back-End: Python (FastAPI, Flask) and/or runtime (Express, NestJS, Bun) for building APIs and services; solid understanding of creating and consuming RESTful APIs.
• DevOps & Tools: Proficiency with Git for version control; experience with CI/CD pipeline tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for automated deployments. Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes), as well as Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform.
• Cloud & Integration: Working knowledge of cloud services (GCP preferred, Azure/AWS also useful) for deploying applications; familiarity with messaging/queuing systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus) and web service integration techniques.
• Frameworks: Comfortable with modern development tools and package managers (npm, uv, bun). Exposure to frameworks like Vaadin and languages like Java is beneficial for versatility.

• Communication: Excellent communication skills in English, with an ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Strong team collaboration skills; able to work effectively in a cross-functional, cross-cultural team environment and occasionally mentor junior developers.
• Adaptability: Agile and adaptable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and learning new technologies or frameworks (such as new AI tools) as needed.
• Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving; able to remain calm and effective when troubleshooting issues under pressure.
• Ownership: High sense of ownership and accountability for the quality of work. Diligent in creating documentation, following through on assignments, and maintaining best practices.
