Role Overview

As a Python Developer at RupeeQ, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing backend systems and APIs that power our fintech platform. You'll work closely with product, design, and data teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that deliver seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python frameworks (Django, Flask, or FastAPI).

* Build, optimize, and manage RESTful APIs and microservices for web and mobile platforms.

* Collaborate with product and frontend teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

* Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of backend systems.

* Work with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis) to design efficient data models.

* Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.

* Participate in code reviews and assist in debugging and troubleshooting.

* Contribute to the automation, testing, and continuous integration process.

* Stay updated with emerging backend technologies and suggest process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

* 2–5 years of hands-on experience in backend development.

* Strong expertise in *Python* and frameworks such as *Django, **Flask, or **FastAPI*.

* Good understanding of *RESTful APIs, **microservices, and **object-oriented programming*.

* Experience working with *relational and NoSQL databases* (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).

* Familiarity with *version control (Git)* and *CI/CD pipelines*.

* Understanding of *cloud environments* (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

* Problem-solving attitude, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in *fintech, banking, or payment systems*.

* Familiarity with *Docker* or *Kubernetes* for containerization.

* Knowledge of *data security standards* and *API integrations*.

* Exposure to *AI/ML model deployment* or *data pipelines* is a plus.
