Mathematics Lecturer – East Point Pre-University College

Responsibilities:

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and critical thinking.
  • Use innovative teaching methods, visual aids, and technology to enhance the learning experience.
  • Provide individual attention and support to students, addressing their unique learning needs and challenges.
  • Prepare and administer assessments, quizzes, and exams to evaluate student progress.
  • Offer timely and constructive feedback to guide students' academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement effective teaching strategies and interdisciplinary projects.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in education and integrate relevant concepts into the curriculum.
  • Coach and mentor students preparing for competitive exams such as KCET and JEE, focusing on conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A master's degree in Mathematics
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably at the PUC or competitive exam levels
  • Proven experience in coaching for KCET and JEE
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and multimedia tools in the classroom
