Speech Therapist

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.

Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.

Provide therapy for a wide range of conditions including aphasia, dysarthria, stuttering, delayed speech, and dysphagia.

Conduct bedside assessments and instrumental evaluations (e.g., VFSS, FEES) where applicable.

Counsel patients and families on communication strategies and therapy progress.

Collaborate with physicians, audiologists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and nursing staff.

Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and techniques for at-home practice.

Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and rehabilitation planning.

Key Requirements:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences.

BASLP - preferred.

Valid registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) or equivalent.

13 years of relevant clinical experience (freshers with internship can be considered).

Experience working with pediatric, adult, or geriatric patients (as per hospital specialization).

Excellent diagnostic and therapeutic skills.

Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
