Job Description of Devops

We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Executive to manage, automate, and streamline our development and deployment processes. The role involves working closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines, efficient system performance, and continuous integration and delivery across environments.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. CI/CD Pipeline Management

Configure, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

Automate build, test, and deployment workflows.

Ensure fast, reliable, and secure deployments.

  1. Cloud Infrastructure

Manage cloud services (AWS / Azure / GCP).

Monitor, scale, and maintain cloud infrastructure.

Assist in designing and implementing cloud architecture.

  1. Server & Environment Management

Handle server provisioning and configuration (Linux/Windows).

Deploy and maintain application environments (Dev, QA, Staging, Production).

Assist with monitoring system performance and optimizing resources.

  1. Automation & Scripting

Create automation scripts using Shell, Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

Automate recurring operational tasks to improve efficiency.

  1. Containerization & Orchestration

Work with Docker, container registries, and images.

Manage Kubernetes clusters (optional but preferred).

  1. Monitoring & Logging

Implement monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK Stack, etc.

Track system performance, uptime, and troubleshoot production issues.

  1. Version Control & Collaboration

Manage repositories using Git / GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket.

Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration.

  1. Security & Compliance

Ensure security best practices in deployments and infrastructure.

Manage access control, secrets, and environment variables.

  1. Documentation

Maintain documentation for processes, automations, deployment steps, and infrastructure.

Prepare runbooks for troubleshooting and operations.

Required Skills

Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

Strong knowledge of Linux commands and server management.

Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP (basic to intermediate).

Familiarity with Docker, Git, and automation scripts.

Understanding of networks, firewalls, and security basics.

Analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher, Internship

Contract length: 3-6 months

Pay: ₹3, ₹10,000.00 per month
