Full Stack Developer

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 continuous working hours per day with a one-hour break, start time between 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM

We are seeking a talented and passionate Full Stack Developer with expertise in Python, PHP, NodeJS, JavaScript, , React to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in both front-end and back-end development, ensuring high-quality web applications that are scalable, efficient, and user-friendly.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, and optimizing web applications, collaborating with UX designers and backend engineers to create seamless user experiences. The role requires a problem-solving mindset, strong coding and debugging skills, and the ability to work in an Agile remote environment. The developer should be responsible for the code that they will be contributing to.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and deploy high-quality web applications.
• Work closely with UX designers, frontend, and backend teams to create robust solutions.
• Build reusable components and architectures for long-term scalability.
• Ensure the performance, security, and responsiveness of applications.
• Follow best standard coding practices, ensuring clean and maintainable code, all the coding standards are already available online because we are using open-source technologies to build the products and services, so the Developer should follow the standard best practices.
• Optimize database queries and improve overall backend performance.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment, participate in sprint planning, and provide feedback.
• Effectively manage Git, code repositories and conflict occurrences.
• Lead the project assigned and be responsible for their coding contributions.

Required skills and experience

• 5+ years of experience in Full Stack Development.
• Proficiency in Python, PHP, NodeJS, JavaScript, , React.
• Strong experience in building RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Experience in developing UI components with JavaScript and its various frameworks.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases for optimized performance.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix-based systems and server-side scripting.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with Git and version control best practices.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal).

Preferred skills (nice to have)

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-based deployments.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with GraphQL or WebSocket APIs.
• Knowledge of Unit Testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Familiarity with modern frontend libraries and state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand).
• Exposure to performance optimization techniques.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.

This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position with benefits such as:

• Paid and non-paid time off, including vacations (16 days per year), holidays (16 days per year), Sick Leave, Marriage Leave, Birthday Leave, Parental Leave and Funeral Leave. Note that this is only available after 6-months and that there is no paid time off during the initial 6-months.
