Job Responsibilities:

The role involves building and releasing a modern digital trading platform through an agile, squad-based delivery model. The program covers end-to-end development, testing, and release of core features such as onboarding, local brokerage, portfolio management, and mutual funds, while embedding DevSecOps practices to ensure security and scalability. The phase concludes with hypercare support, knowledge transfer, and a structured handover to support teams to enable sustainable platform management.

Skills Needed:

  • Strong expertise in Java Spring Boot backend development within OpenShift environments.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in backend software development.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages and DSA concepts.
  • Proficiency in API design and integration, secure coding practices, and performance optimization.
  • Solid understanding of microservices, CI/CD, and container orchestration.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and agile delivery methodologies.
  • Familiarity with version control and collaboration tools: Git, GitHub, etc.
  • Ability to absorb technical and functional direction effectively and execute work independently.
  • Understanding of financial markets, trading concepts, and algorithms would be a plus. Experience with trading platforms would be a big plus.
  • Familiarity with order execution systems, FIX Protocol and market data feeds would be a plus. Strong mathematical and statistical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from a premier institution like IITs/NITs.
