Requirements
Experience in audio production, music technology, or equivalent expertise gained through work in the audio industry.

8+ years of experience in QA Automation.

Experience developing/extending test automation frameworks (preferably – desktop).

Strong knowledge of Java programming language (Java 21), including Collections framework and functional programming elements.

Good understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and software design patterns.

Hands-on experience with Pro Tools software.

Proficiency in both macOS and Windows platforms.

Experience With MacOS Terminal And Basic Bash Scripting Skills.
Experience working with Git.

Knowledge of software testing theory and best practices.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Ability to work overlapping hours with CET and PST time zones.

The perfect candidate also has:

Hands-on experience with audio hardware.

Experience using task/bug-tracking tools, such as Jira.

Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Experience As a Team Lead, Supervising, And Mentoring Skills.
Basic knowledge of Python and PowerShell.

Basic knowledge of JUnit framework.

Experience with Lombok, Google Guava, and Apache Commons.

Experience using test case management tools, such as TestRail.

Basic experience working in Microsoft Excel.

Job responsibilities

We are looking for a person to fill the senior SDET position in the dedicated QA Automation team for a world-leading digital audio software and hardware manufacturer.

The team covers both the creation and execution of automated tests for various feature teams in the company. The main responsibility of this role is creating new tests based on designs provided by feature teams, maintaining existing tests, debugging failures, and refining the code base of the test automation framework.

We are looking for a person with a good understanding of software testing theory and best practices, the ability to break complicated problems into smaller tasks, and attention to detail. You should be able to write clean code in modern Java (currently we are using version 21), relying on software design patterns and SOLID principles. You are also expected to have experience in digital audio production/music technology and knowledge of Pro Tools DAW.

Your work will involve collaboration with colleagues in the US and various European countries, so excellent English communication skills and the ability to work overlapping hours with PST and CET time zones are required.
