Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced and proactive Manager DevOps to lead and manage a DevOps team responsible for supporting development pipelines, deployment automation, infrastructure monitoring, and system reliability. This role combines technical understanding of DevOps principles with strong leadership, communication, and client-handling capabilities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on exposure to DevOps tools and methodologies, team management experience, and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing DevOps team focused on CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and cloud operations.
• Conduct regular team stand-ups, one-on-one reviews, and performance appraisals to drive accountability and growth.
• Promote skill development through hands-on mentoring, coaching, and technical training programs.
• Foster a collaborative team culture that emphasizes ownership, quality delivery, and continuous improvement.
• Guide the team in adopting and implementing DevOps best practices including CI/CD, automated deployments, containerization, and system monitoring.
• Ensure system uptime, reliability, and performance through proactive incident management and root cause analysis.
• Review and validate automation scripts, deployment workflows, and configuration changes.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to support agile release cycles and improve deployment efficiency.
• Drive enhancements in release management, system scalability, and infrastructure optimization.
• Oversee cloud infrastructure provisioning, scaling, monitoring, and optimization across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Lead operational excellence initiatives in cloud environments through automation, security, compliance, and performance management.
• Champion infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Implement and manage cloud governance practices including access control, disaster recovery, and backup strategies.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to align cloud operations with enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Review cloud architecture periodically for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with evolving business needs.
• Monitor usage trends, forecast demand, and implement cost-control measures to optimize cloud expenditure.
• Act as the primary technical liaison for clients on infrastructure, deployment, and operational concerns.
• Understand client infrastructure needs, SLAs, and ensure the team delivers high-quality, timely solutions.
• Lead client calls, provide status updates, and conduct post-incident reviews with a focus on transparency and improvement.
• Proactively address client escalations and ensure resolution through a customer-first approach.
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding operational health, risks, and action plans.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes) are a plus.
• 10+ years of overall experience, including at least 7 years managing a DevOps or infrastructure team.
• Strong understanding of DevOps concepts: CI/CD, IaC, containerization, cloud services, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, AWS/Azure/GCP, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
• Strong problem-solving and incident management skills.
• Experience managing on-call rotations and production incident workflows.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
