We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Data Modeller with over 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise systems, data warehouses, and analytics platforms. You will collaborate closely with data architects, business analysts, and development teams to ensure data structures support business requirements efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models for transactional and analytical systems.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into robust data models.
  • Collaborate with Data Architects, ETL Developers, and BI Analysts to ensure alignment of models with data pipelines and reporting needs.
  • Optimise data models for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Review and improve existing data models to meet evolving business needs.
  • Ensure data modelling best practices and standards are followed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data modelling (OLTP and OLAP environments).
  • With expertise in Data Vault, such as Hubs, Links, and Satellites.
  • Flow: source staging vault business vault star schema.
  • Sources: OLTP, files, logs, events.
  • Strong knowledge of relational and dimensional modelling techniques (Star, Snowflake schemas).
  • Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • Familiarity with data lake architectures, NoSQL databases, and big data platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
