Experience:

  • Production Manager: 5–6 Years(Mandatory experience in Printing, Signage, Facades & Interiors industry)

ROLE PURPOSE

The Production In-charge / Production Manager is responsible for end-to-end production planning, execution, quality control, and timely delivery of all works related to printing, signage fabrication, facade elements, and interior branding.

This role ensures that production is carried out efficiently, safely, cost-effectively, and as per approved drawings and specifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Production Planning & Scheduling

  • Plan daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
  • Align production output with project and installation timelines.
  • Allocate machines, manpower, shifts, and outsourcing if required.
  • Ensure smooth workflow without bottlenecks.

2. Printing Production Management

  • Oversee large-format printing such as:
  • Vinyl, Flex, Backlit media, Wallpapers
  • UV, Eco-solvent, Latex printing
  • Ensure:
  • Correct colour profiles and resolution
  • Proper media selection
  • Finishing accuracy (lamination, trimming, mounting)

3. Signage, Facade & Interior Fabrication

  • Supervise fabrication of:
  • ACP signboards & cladding
  • Acrylic, SS, Aluminium letters
  • LED signages & light boxes
  • Facade components and architectural panels
  • Interior branding and display elements
  • Ensure fabrication strictly follows approved drawings and BOQs.

4. Material & Inventory Control

  • Manage raw materials including:
  • Printing media, inks, laminations
  • ACP sheets, acrylics, metals
  • LED modules, drivers, power supplies
  • Control material consumption, wastage, scrap, and rework.
  • Maintain minimum and reorder stock levels.

5. Quality Control & Standards

  • Implement production SOPs and QC checklists.
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections.
  • Ensure colour consistency, dimensional accuracy, and finishing quality.
  • Reduce rework and quality-related complaints.

6. Manpower & Machine Management

  • Allocate and supervise shop-floor manpower.
  • Monitor productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance of machines.
  • Coordinate repair and downtime minimisation.

7. Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce shop-floor safety norms:
  • PPE usage
  • Electrical safety
  • Material handling procedures
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and client safety requirements.
  • Maintain a safe and disciplined production environment.

8. Dispatch & Coordination

  • Plan dispatch as per installation schedules.
  • Ensure proper packing, labeling, and protection of finished goods.
  • Coordinate with site teams for smooth handover.

9. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain daily and weekly production reports:
  • Job status
  • Material usage
  • Wastage and rework
  • Share performance reports with Operations Manager / Business Head.
  • Maintain records for audits and internal reviews.

MANDATORY INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

  • Hands-on experience in:
  • Printing production (vinyl, flex, UV, backlit)
  • Signage fabrication and installation readiness
  • ACP cladding and facade-related production
  • Interior branding production
  • Strong understanding of:
