Primary Job Title: Consultant Medical Specialist (Multiple Specialties)

About the Opportunity
A 50‑bed community hospital operating in the secondary healthcare sector, serving Shahpura and the greater Bhilwara region in India. We provide end‑to‑end inpatient and outpatient care with a focus on accessible, evidence‑based clinical services, diagnostics and planned surgical care. We are hiring on‑site medical specialists across multiple disciplines to strengthen our clinical team and expand local specialty coverage.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑quality outpatient (OPD) and inpatient (IPD) clinical care, including assessment, diagnosis, management and follow‑up for specialty‑specific patients.
  • Perform specialty appropriate procedures and surgeries in minor/major OT settings (as applicable), ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and infection control standards.
  • Interpret and use diagnostic imaging and labs to guide management; collaborate with radiology for reporting and image‑guided interventions.
  • Provide emergency and on‑call coverage on a rostered basis, stabilising acute presentations and coordinating referrals where required.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, discharge summaries and prescriptions; participate in morbidity and mortality reviews and quality improvement activities.
  • Work collaboratively with nursing, allied health and administrative teams to deliver patient‑centred care and support community outreach where applicable.

Must‑Have

  • Gynaecologic surgery
  • Internal medicine management
  • Diagnostic ultrasonography
  • PACS
  • Digital radiography
  • General surgical procedures

Preferred

  • Orthopaedic trauma surgery
  • ACLS
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications (role‑specific)

  • Gynaecologist: MD/DGO/DNB (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) or equivalent + valid state medical registration.
  • Physician (Medicine Specialist): MD/DNB (Internal Medicine) or equivalent + valid registration.
  • Radiologist/Sonologist: MD/DNB (Radiology) or certified sonologist with demonstrable reporting experience + PACS proficiency.
  • General Surgeon: MS/DNB (General Surgery) or equivalent + operative experience across elective and emergency procedures.
  • Orthopaedic: MS/DNB (Orthopaedics) or equivalent with trauma and elective procedure experience.
  • MBBS/BAMS/BHMS Doctor: MBBS or BAMS/BHMS with demonstrable exposure to gynaecology and minor procedures; registered with appropriate council.
  • All candidates must hold current registration with the Medical Council/State Medical Council and necessary licenses to practise in India.
