At Circa 11, coffee isn't just a beverage — it's the start of our shapeshifting day. Mornings here hum with slow light and perfectly pulled shots, afternoons are fuelled by conversation over cappuccinos, and evenings slip into cocktails and dinner.
We're looking for a Lead Barista to anchor this rhythm. Someone who knows their beans and brews, but also understands people, flow, and energy. You'll be the face of our coffee program — setting the tone for the day, mentoring the team, and building a bar that's as sharp in craft as it is warm in hospitality.
What you'll do:
- Lead daily coffee operations — from dial-ins to latte art.
- Train, mentor, and inspire a team of baristas.
- Maintain consistency and quality across all brews.
- Work with the culinary and bar teams to develop signature drinks.
- Uphold standards of service, cleanliness, and mise-en-place.
What we're looking for:
- 2–4 years of barista experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Technical expertise in espresso, brewing methods, and latte art.
- Strong communication and team-management skills.
- A curious palate and a love for craft coffee.
- Someone who thrives in dynamic, high-energy environments.
