About the Role

We are looking for a passionate AWS DevOps Engineer to join our growing tech team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating, deploying, and maintaining secure, scalable cloud environments using AWS services. You will work closely with developers to streamline CI/CD pipelines, monitor system health, and ensure high availability across applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, ECS, EKS, Lambda, CloudFront, Route53).
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, or Jenkins.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform / CloudFormation / AWS CDK.
  • Manage containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
  • Configure monitoring and alerting with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and GuardDuty.
  • Enforce IAM policies, secrets management, and security best practices.
  • Optimize costs, performance, and scalability of AWS environments.
  • Collaborate with developers for seamless release cycles and infrastructure improvements.

Required Skills

  • Hands-on experience with AWS core services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, ECS/EKS).
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD automation tools.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
  • Experience with IaC (Terraform / CloudFormation).
  • Familiar with Linux system administration.
  • Knowledge of networking, load balancing, and security concepts.

Good to Have

  • Experience with Serverless (AWS Lambda, API Gateway).
  • Exposure to GitHub Actions / Bitbucket Pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
  • AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) is a plus.
