Role & responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement solution using PySpark for data processing and analytics.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to gather requirements and understand project objectives.
  • Optimize data processes and workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Conduct data analysis to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data throughout the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process.
  • Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and data integration components.
  • Perform error handling, debugging, and troubleshooting of data processes.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4 to 7 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on PySpark.
  • Proficiency in working with big data technologies, including Apache Spark.
