Purchase Executive (Modular Office Furniture)

Industry: Modular Office Furniture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and purchase materials such as boards (PB/MDF/HDHMR), laminates, veneers, hardware, fittings, aluminum profiles, glass, adhesives, and packaging materials
  • Develop and maintain a reliable vendor base for furniture materials and accessories
  • Obtain quotations, conduct price comparisons, and negotiate best rates and delivery terms.
  • Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in line with project and production requirements.
  • Coordinate with production, design, and project teams for material specifications and timelines.
  • Track order status and ensure on-time delivery of materials to factory or project site
  • Verify GRN, invoices, and material quality in coordination with stores and QC teams
  • Monitor inventory levels and plan re-ordering to avoid shortages or excess stock
  • Handle vendor performance evaluation and resolve supply-related issues
  • Maintain proper purchase documentation, MIS reports, and cost records
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements

Educational Criteria

  • Graduate in any discipline (Commerce / Management / Engineering preferred)
  • MBA in Supply Chain Management / Operations / Materials Management preferred
  • Relevant experience in Modular Office Furniture industry is mandatory

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
