Senior Electrician

Job Role & Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, control panels, and equipment at pathology centers/labs.
• Ensure smooth functioning of laboratory electrical instruments, backup systems (UPS, DG sets), and other medical equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns.
• Diagnose electrical issues, troubleshoot problems, and repair faults promptly.
• Maintain records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Coordinate with facility/technical team for new setups, wiring, and electrical support.
• Provide immediate assistance during power failures or technical faults to avoid disruption in lab operations.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 23 years of experience as an electrician (healthcare/laboratory experience preferred).
• Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read technical drawings and electrical diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts and attend urgent calls when required.
