About The Opportunity
We are hiring a hands‑on .NET Core Developer to join a high-performance engineering team focused on building secure, maintainable, and high-throughput backend systems. You will implement APIs, optimise database interactions, and ship production-grade services with attention to performance, observability, and testability.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using C# and ASP.NET Core (Web API).
  • Implement and optimise data access layers using Entity Framework Core and SQL Server; tune queries and indexes for performance.
  • Build and document RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services and telephony/messaging gateways where required.
  • Contribute to microservices design, containerisation (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
  • Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and follow best practices for clean code and SOLID design.
  • Monitor, debug, and improve application performance and reliability in production (logging, metrics, alerts).

Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have

  • 3+ years professional experience with C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET Core web API development.
  • Strong experience with Entity Framework Core and relational databases (SQL Server); proficient in writing and optimising T‑SQL.
  • Proven experience building RESTful APIs, working with JSON, authentication (JWT/OAuth), and API versioning.

Preferred

  • Hands-on with Docker and container-based development; familiarity with orchestration or cloud deployments (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
  • Experience with microservices, messaging/queueing (RabbitMQ, Kafka), and event-driven patterns.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), unit testing frameworks (xUnit/NUnit), and agile workflows.
