Duties

  • Maintain and update day-to-day accounting records related to site operations.
  • Prepare and verify vouchers, bills, invoices, and payments.
  • Manage accounts payable (vendor bills, subcontractor payments, material suppliers) and accounts receivable.
  • Monitor cash flow and maintain site petty cash.
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements and site expense reports.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, etc.).
  • Assist in preparing project budgets, cost tracking, and variance analysis.
  • Maintain proper documentation of site-related financial transactions.
  • Coordinate with the Head Office for monthly MIS, payroll, and other financial reports.
  • Support site audits by providing necessary data and documents.
  • Track material consumption, labor expenses, and subcontractor payments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (M.Com preferred).
  • 4-6 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction/real estate/infrastructure industry.
  • Knowledge of Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of construction site accounting (material, labor, subcontractors).
  • Good knowledge of taxation (GST, TDS) and compliance requirements.
