Job Title: Accounts Receivable Representative/Sr Accounts Receivable Representative

Experience Required: 6 Months to 4 years

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Billing Accounts Receivable Representative to manage outstanding payments, follow up on claims, and ensure timely reimbursements from insurance providers. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a thorough understanding of medical billing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Claims Management: Process, review, and follow up on medical claims to ensure timely payments.
  • Denial Management: Identify and resolve denied claims by coordinating with insurance companies and healthcare providers.
  • Billing Compliance: Ensure adherence to payer-specific guidelines, including correct coding and modifier usage.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in medical billing and accounts receivable.
  • Strong knowledge of CPT codes, payer-specific guidelines, and medical billing regulations.
  • Proficiency in billing software and electronic claim submission.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare reimbursement policies.
  • Experience working with Waystar, Streamline, or similar billing platforms (Optional)
  • Prior exposure to CMS policies & NCCI Edits and medical coding practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
