Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement electrical layouts for solar PV systems (rooftop and ground-mounted).
  • Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and load calculations.
  • Supervise installation, wiring, and commissioning of solar power plants.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and perform preventive maintenance of solar systems.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and government bodies for approvals and inspections.
  • Prepare technical documentation, project reports, and as-built drawings.
  • Stay updated with emerging solar technologies, inverters, batteries, and related components.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering /ITI electrical or a related field.
  • Knowledge of electrical design tools, AutoCAD, PVsyst, or equivalent software.
  • Familiarity with national and international electrical codes (IEC, NEC, IS standards).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently or in a team.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
